In this thesis I will investigate the change in the concept of "liveness" with the advent of social media, especially after the collective experience of Covid-19 which gave a further push towards an increasingly platform based society, consecrating new forms of technologically mediated co-presence. The boundary between being physically present and being present remotely continues to change and blur following the course and development of increasingly engaging and ubiquitous technologies, and this will be the point around which I will revolve the work. In particular, I will use the dimensions of live music streaming as my case study to understand how the concepts considered fundamental in the definition of live have been rearticulated and continue to be rearticulated. I will analyze the ways of interacting with the streaming performance from the spectator's point of view during viewing and participation

Abstract
I will analyze the ways of interacting with the streaming performance from the spectator's point of view during viewing and participationFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
