Una finestra sulla comunità Femcel - come il mondo non ne parla

Let’s talk about Femcel, the unknown female counterpart of Incel. Numerous researches investigate the Manosphere and the groups that are part of it: we know the PUA movement (Pick Up Artist), MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way), MRA (Men Rights Activists), Incel, but where are the women in this world? Very often their belonging to the Incel community is denied from the members themselves, but they also exist and are called Femcel. In this research we will analyze the topics and the discussions in the Femcel forum, focusing on the isolation that they experience not only in the Manosphere but in the world in general that doesn’t consider their existence. Only a few researches have focused on this community, so we will open a window that will allow us to discover an unexplored world.

Parliamo di Femcel, la controparte femminile degli Incel a noi sconosciuta. Numerose sono le ricerche che indagano la Manosphere e i gruppi che la compongono: conosciamo il movimento PUA (Pick Up Artist), MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way), MRA (Men’s Rights Activists), Incel, ma dove sono le donne in questo mondo? Molto spesso la loro appartenenza alla comunità Incel viene rinnegata dagli stessi membri, però anche loro esistono e si chiamano Femcel. In questa tesi di ricerca andremo ad analizzare le tematiche trattate e le discussioni che avvengono nei forum Femcel, concentrandoci sulla condizione di isolamento che vivono non solo all’intero della Manosphere ma anche nel mondo in generale che non ne considera l’esistenza. Poche ricerche sono state fatte su questa comunità, apriremo così una finestra che ci permetterà di scoprire un mondo ancora troppo poco esplorato.
