Percorsi intorno all'Eretteo: una proposta di turismo culturale nel cuore di Atene

The main topic of this thesis is a framing of the Temple Erechteion within the Acropolis of Athens. In particular, starting from an analysis of the socio-cultural and historical context around which the Acropolis was built and developed, namely the period from the Geometric Age to that of Pericles, the structural and mythical aspects of the temple are outlined. The study then focuses, initially, on the description of the reasons that led to the construction of the Acropolis and the subsequent renewal by Pericles, dealing in detail with the architectural and artistic aspects and also the myths that have been created around this place. From a more generic context we finally come to outline the history and myths that characterize the temple of the Erechteion, analyzing also the structural composition and the artistic elements contained in it.

L'argomento principale di questa tesi è un inquadramento del tempio Eretteo all'interno dell'Acropoli di Atene. In particolare, a partire da un'analisi del contesto socio-culturale e storico attorno al quale si è costruita e sviluppata l'Acropoli, ossia il periodo che va dall'Età Geometrica a quella di Pericle, si delineano gli aspetti strutturali e mitici del tempio. Lo studio verte quindi, inizialmente, sulla descrizione delle motivazioni che hanno portato alla costruzione dell'Acropoli e al successivo rinnovo da parte di Pericle, trattando nel dettaglio gli aspetti architettonici e artistici e anche i miti che si sono creati attorno a questo luogo. Da un contesto più generico si arriva infine a delineare la storia e i miti che caratterizzano il tempio dell'Eretteo, andando inoltre ad analizzare nel dettaglio la composizione strutturale e gli elementi artistici in esso contenuti.
