The emerging tourist trend of slow tourism, born in response to the frenzy of everyday life, has led to a change in the choice of holiday, through one of the currently growing tourist practices: the walking experience. In the literature, it is considered that this type of experience allows one to enjoy the territories in a different and deeper way, and at the same time goes hand in hand with the concept of sustainability. Through this study, the historical Road of the 52 Tunnels of Monte Pasubio will be narrated through the personal experiences of walkers who have crossed it. To this end, the most recurring themes that emerged from the walking experiences will be analysed through the method of qualitative interviews, and we will reflect on the different perceptions captured by travellers who have lived the same territory.

Abstract
The emerging tourist trend of slow tourism, born in response to the frenzy of everyday life, has led to a change in the choice of holiday, through one of the currently growing tourist practices: the walking experience. In the literature, it is considered that this type of experience allows one to enjoy the territories in a different and deeper way, and at the same time goes hand in hand with the concept of sustainability. Through this study, the historical Road of the 52 Tunnels of Monte Pasubio will be narrated through the personal experiences of walkers who have crossed it. To this end, the most recurring themes that emerged from the walking experiences will be analysed through the method of qualitative interviews, and we will reflect on the different perceptions captured by travellers who have lived the same territory.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
