This thesis deals with the development of two HPLC-MS/MS analytical methods for the determination and quantification of two classes of compounds (six haloacetic acids and two endocrine disruptors) in aqueous matrix, precisely in water intended for human consumption. These test methods were developed in compliance with the European Union Directive 2020/2184 which established new legal limits for the treated compounds: 60 ppb on the sum of 5 haloacetic acids, Monochloroacetic, Dichloroacetic, Trichloroacetic, Monobromoacetic, Dibromoacetic acid ; 2.5 ppb for Bisphenol A. Bromochloroacetic acid and 17-β-Estradiol are also treated. These two analytes do not fall under European regulation 2020/2184, but have been included by the EU Commission with an implementing decision in the list of substances that must be carefully monitored along the entire water supply chain. For this reason, the limitations reported above were also taken into account in the development of the methods for these analytes.

Abstract
For this reason, the limitations reported above were also taken into account in the development of the methods for these analytes.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
