Macedoni: Greci o Barbari?

Greeks divided the world into Greeks and Barbarians, people with different origins, languages, religions, customs. If, by definition, Persians were the Barbarians, what was the Greek vision of Macedonians? This thesis describes this vision, on what grounds it was base, and how it evolved from the beginning of the V to the end of IV century b.C.

i Greci dividevano il mondo tra Greci e Barbari, quelli che non avevano le stesse origini, stessa lingua, stessa religione, stessi costumi. Se i Persiani erano i Barbari per definizione, come vedevano i Greci i Macedoni ? In questa tesi si cercherà di illustrare com'era questa visione, su quali argomenti si basava e come si è modificata dall'inizio del V alla fine del IV secolo a.C.
