CSR reporting e CSR performance: il dibattito internazionale sul tema

My thesis deals with the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility. In the first part of the work this topic is addressed from a theoretical point of view. In the next part, however, we talk about CSR Reporting, i.e. the methodology with which companies can report their efforts and the objectives achieved in the social sphere. Specifically, I speak of the main models available, giving a brief description of each one, indicating their purposes and weaknesses. In the third part, I talk about the international view on the topic, focusing on the initiatives currently being developed by supranational bodies, such as the EU and the UN, to address climate change. Finally, in the last part, I talk about other ways in which CSR can be verified in the company, elaborating my thoughts on the importance of using this vision in a changing world context.

La mia tesi affronta il tema della Corporate Social Responsibility. Nella prima parte del lavoro questo argomento viene affrontato da un punto di vista teorico. Nella parte successiva, invece, parlo del CSR Reporting, ossia la metodologia con cui le aziende possono rendicontare i propri sforzi e gli obiettivi raggiunti in ambito sociale. Nello specifico dei principali modelli disponibili, dando una breve descrizione di ciascuno, indicandone finalità e punti deboli. Nella terza parte parlo della visione internazionale sull’argomento, soffermandomi sulle iniziative attualmente in fase di sviluppo o intraprese da parte di organismi sovranazionali, come l'UE e le ONU, per affrontare il cambiamento climatico. Infine, nell’ultima parte, parlo di altre modalità con cui si può verificare la CSR in azienda, elaborando il mio pensiero sull’importanza di utilizzare questa visione sostenibile in un contesto mondiale in cambiamento.
