Necropoli protostoriche dello Swāt (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan): alla ricerca di un rituale ciclico (ca. 1400-800 a.C.)

This thesis of three-year degree aims at studying and analyzing multiple proto-historic graveyards inside the Swāt Valley of Pakistan. The project begins from the history of studies of the context, retracing the first digs made, till the incorporation of some more recent case studies, in order to have a clearer overall picture. The target of the research is finding a cyclical ritual inside the graveyards, through a multivariate analysis of the grave goods (especially the ceramic findings)

Questa tesi di laurea triennale mira allo studio e analisi di alcune necropoli protostoriche all'interno della Valle dello Swāt in Pakistan. L'elaborato inizierà dalla storia degli studi del contesto, ripercorrendo i primi scavi condotti, fino ad arrivare all'integrazione di casi studio più recenti, così da avere un quadro d'insieme più chiaro. Lo scopo dell'indagine è quello di individuare un rituale ciclico all'interno delle necropoli, grazie ad un'analisi multivariata dei corredi funerari (in particolare dei reperti ceramici).
