L'opera e i luoghi di Angelika Kauffmann in Austria: una proposta di itinerario turistico

The thesis aims to study, specifically, the figure of the artist Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807) who was a model of inspiration for other artists, but above all a model to follow for female artists. A figure capable of going beyond the limitations placed on the female gender during the period of her work. Through this writing I attempted to write a biography on the artist, also identifying her pictorial style and the works that most led to her fame. Finally, a tourist itinerary is proposed in the places where her memory is still celebrated today.

L'elaborato si propone di studiare, nello specifico, la figura dell'artista Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807) che fu un modello di ispirazione per altri artisti ma soprattutto un modello da seguire per le artiste donne. Una figura in grado di andare oltre le limitazioni poste al genere femminile durante il periodo del suo operato. Attraverso questo scritto si è cercato di scrivere una biografia sull'artista, individuando anche il suo stile pittorico e le opere che hanno maggiormente portato alla sua fama. Infine, si propone un itinerario turistico nei luoghi in cui la sua memoria viene celebrata ancora oggi.
