My thesis proposes a consideration of the two facets of love: lust and authentic love. The ambivalence between these two feelings is analyzed through the narrative poem "Venus and Adonis" written by Shakespeare, who took inspiration from Ovid's mythological tale "Venus and Adonis" narrated in the "Metamorphoses."
La mia tesi propone una considerazione sulle due sfaccettature dell'amore: la lussuria e l'amore autentico. L'ambivalenza fra questi due sentimenti è analizzata attraverso il poema narrativo "Venere e Adone" scritto da Shakespeare, il quale prese ispirazione dalla vicenda mitologica "Venere e Adone" di Ovidio narrata nelle "Metamorfosi".
