This thesis investigates the critical factors and strategies contributing to the increase in sales and sell-out rates within a Bata shoe company. In the highly competitive and dynamic Market of the footwear industry, where seasonal collections play a pivotal role in brand profitability and image, the underperformance of 2023 Spring Summer footwear new collections can be a significant concern. This research undertakes a comprehensive examination of the factors contributing to low sell-out rates of 2023 Spring summer footwear new collection of Bata and offers strategic recommendations for improvement. In light of this concern, both internal and external analyses will be employed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business environment, concentrate on internal company dynamics, and make informed decisions. Additionally, the issues behind inadequate sales which include low footfall, conversion rate, misalignment between customer preferences and shoe collection, pricing strategies, climate change and many others are going to be elaborated. The primary goal of this research is to identify the influencing factors that led to low sell out rate and make recommendations to enhance the sales of Bata Shoes' Spring/Summer collection 2024 in comparison with 2023 and diminish the gap in customer perception regarding the products.
