What leads a person to become a member of a religious sect? There are psychosocial processes that innately push people to search for a group: for this reason, some of these processes "deceive" us by misleading us and not making us notice the dangers that belonging to a religious sect entails. These same processes are also exploited for the Brainwashing technique. The thesis juggles these topics by delving into various processes such as categorization, the need of the group and many others; further accepting historical experiments that demonstrate and support these processes. Finally, the analysis of sects considered "historic", as they are very well known and from the last century, with personal considerations regarding the characteristics of the leader and his manipulation techniques. This thesis is based on the thought that those who have become part of religious sects are not only naive and naive but people like others who have become targets of religious sects.

Abstract
This thesis is based on the thought that those who have become part of religious sects are not only naive and naive but people like others who have become targets of religious sects.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
