The aim of this thesis was the creation of a simple VLC system, i.e. a low-cost communication system based on visible light, using an Arduino Due board. PAM (pulse-amplitude modulation) was chosen as modulation being one of the most used for VLC systems. The essay presents the steps that led to the creation of the system, from the choice of components to the implementation of message transmission. The tests carried out have highlighted the correct behavior of the devices built, despite the fact that the performances are limited by the capabilities of the instrumentation used.

Abstract
The aim of this thesis was the creation of a simple VLC system, i.e. a low-cost communication system based on visible light, using an Arduino Due board. PAM (pulse-amplitude modulation) was chosen as modulation being one of the most used for VLC systems. The essay presents the steps that led to the creation of the system, from the choice of components to the implementation of message transmission. The tests carried out have highlighted the correct behavior of the devices built, despite the fact that the performances are limited by the capabilities of the instrumentation used.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
