In today's society, diversity in the workplace is a challenge that requires commitment in order to take better advantage of the benefits that globalization brings. Workplaces are becoming increasingly heterogeneous with technological connectivity and the expansion of the global labor market. Given that the construct of identity is a factor that shapes the behavior of individuals, this study explores the relationship between multiple identities of employees, as well as the impact these identities have on the development of their intercultural awareness. The research sample consists of respondents who are part of multicultural workplaces in several European countries (France, Germany and Sweden), and the findings of this study assist us in understanding that an individual's intercultural awareness is shaped by the interplay of multiple identities.

Abstract
In today's society, diversity in the workplace is a challenge that requires commitment in order to take better advantage of the benefits that globalization brings. Workplaces are becoming increasingly heterogeneous with technological connectivity and the expansion of the global labor market. Given that the construct of identity is a factor that shapes the behavior of individuals, this study explores the relationship between multiple identities of employees, as well as the impact these identities have on the development of their intercultural awareness. The research sample consists of respondents who are part of multicultural workplaces in several European countries (France, Germany and Sweden), and the findings of this study assist us in understanding that an individual's intercultural awareness is shaped by the interplay of multiple identities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
