INTRODUCTION: The Ciaodoc™ project, developed in collaboration with Nauta Studio and Dr. Roberto Ferrari, uses an evidence-based algorithm to assess the risk of oral diseases through a questionnaire. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The project focuses on the analysis of the "Ciaodoc™" algorithm, a questionnaire aimed at assessing the risk of periodontal disease. The approach includes several steps: selection of relevant topics, search for scientific evidence, systematic review of the literature and attribution of values based on the robustness of the evidence. A database supports the algorithm to be efficient. The project involves dental patients, classified according to risk and periodontal pathologies through the questionnaire, allowing to evaluate the reliability of the algorithm. Continuous updating ensures that the system remains at the forefront based on the latest scientific findings. DISCUSSION-ANALYSIS: from the analysis of a sample of 50 patients, the "Ciaodoc™" platform demonstrated a reliability of 76%, successfully identifying periodontal disease. Although there are cases where the algorithm has overestimated the risk in young, healthy patients, the platform has accurately detected the high risk related to systemic diseases in older age groups. The platform raises awareness and empowerment among patients, encouraging the improvement of daily habits and prevention. CONCLUSION: The Ciaodoc™ project provides dentists with an important tool to assess the risk of periodontal disease in patients, improving work efficiency and involving patients in their oral health. Analysis of a sample demonstrated the high sensitivity of the test and its usefulness in dental practice.
