The research assessed 72 participants in two sessions: outpatient session involving maximal cardiopulmonary testing and a second session conducted in the Euganean Hills Park to determine cardiopulmonary parameters during hiking activities. The aim of the study is to evaluate exercise intensity through the direct measurement of various cardiopulmonary parameters. Further analysis were performed to examine the influence of participants' biological characteristics on these cardiopulmonary parameters.
Lo studio ha valutato 72 soggetti in due sessioni: una sessione ambulatoriale con test cardiopolmonare massimale e una seconda con test da campo presso parco colli euganei per la determinazione di parametri cardiopolmonari durante l’attività di hiking. Lo scopo dello studio è valutare l’intensità dell’esercizio tramite la misurazione diretta di vari parametri cardiopolmonari. Ulteriori analisi sono state eseguite per verificare l’influenza delle caratteristiche biologiche dei partecipanti sui parametri cardiopolmonari.
