The thesis aims to detect barred galaxies in the cluster MACS J0647.8+7015 at z=0.59 using the images obtained with the F200W filter from the NIRCam camera mounted on the James Webb Space Telescope. By comparing the fraction of barred galaxies in the local universe it will be possible to study the effects of the environment on the formation of bars as a function of cosmic time in the last 6 Gyr.
La tesi si propone di identificare le galassie barrate dell'ammasso MACS J0647.8+7015 a z=0.59 usando le immagini ottenute con il filtro F200W dalla camera NIRCam montata sul James Webb Space Telescope. Dal confronto con la frazione di galassie barrate dell'universo locale sarà possibile studiare gli effetti dell'ambiente sulla formazione delle barre in funzione del tempo cosmico negli ultimi 6 Gyr.
