This thesis's focus is of shining a light, with qualitative interviews, on the use of dating apps in the LGBTQIA+ community of Montreal. I will take into account the research that has been done in the field, and, even if there is a lot of academic research in the field from different parts of the world (North America, England, Italy), the majority of it focuses on the gay men community, leaving out the rest of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is why the people interviewed from the queer community were cisgender and transgender women, but also non-binary, genderfluid and two-spirit people. This research tries to explain not only how dating apps are used in this community, but which ones are used, out of the many that are available today, and why. Moreover, the people that were interviewed, were also asked what kind of relationship they have with dating apps, and what kind of experiences they had, if positive or negative.

Abstract
Moreover, the people that were interviewed, were also asked what kind of relationship they have with dating apps, and what kind of experiences they had, if positive or negative.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
