Navigating real-life challenges: The role of social media for Chinese sexual minority women

Chinese sexual minority women have lower visibility in the sexual minority community, in the same time, they are also facing various difficulties in their real lives and online community. To find out their current situation, and know about the challenges and the role of social media to them, this research interviewed 23 Chinese sexual minority women, through their answers, applying the qualitative method to understand how social media affect them at different levels.
