The thesis focuses on the multimedia propaganda materials disseminated in the dictatorial Iraq, with the aim of highlighting their fictional but crucial status for the preservation of Saddam Hussein's power. The thesis also identifies the features that it has in common with other dictatorial experiences, finally creating an appendix to discuss the anti-propaganda following the fall of S. Hussein.

La tesi pone al centro dell'attenzione i materiali multimediali propagandistici divulgati nell'Iraq dittatoriale, con lo scopo di evidenziarne lo statuto finzionale, ma fondamentale al tempo stesso per la conservazione del potere di Saddam Hussein. La tesi inoltre individua i tratti che l'accomunano ad altre esperienze dittatoriali, ritagliandosi infine un'appendice per trattare l'anti propaganda successiva alla caduta di S. Hussein.
