Ein Hungerkünstler et un Homme-Plume: l'absolu de l'existence artistique chez Kafka et Flaubert

The aim of this research work is to bring to light the most intimate and unpublished values in the art of writing that unite two literary geniuses such as Kafka and Flaubert, through the testimonies of certain assertions found in the endless correspondences and diary pages, a privileged way of approaching the authors. The common thread linking Normandy and Prague, French and German, Madame Bovary and Die Verwandlung, turns out to be the extraordinary way of conceiving and experiencing art. The concluding section will describe how these personalities in total self-denial for art identify profoundly with the characters in their works: Kafka's Digiunator and Flaubert's Saint Anthony, suffering and brilliant outcasts who strip themselves of all social convention to reach a deeper truth.

L’obiettivo di questo lavoro di ricerca è portare alla luce i valori più intimi ed inediti nell’arte scrittoria che accomunano due geni letterari come Kafka e Flaubert, attraverso le testimonianze di alcune asserzioni presenti nelle infinite corrispondenze e nelle pagine di diario, via privilegiata di avvicinamento agli autori. Il fil rouge che unisce Normandia e Praga, lingua francese e tedesca, Madame Bovary e Die Verwandlung, si rivela essere lo straordinario modo di concepire e vivere l’arte. La sezione conclusiva descriverà come queste personalità in totale abnegazione per l’arte si identifichino profondamente nei personaggi delle loro opere: il Digiunatore di Kafka e il Sant’Antonio di Flaubert, emarginati sofferenti e geniali che si spogliano di ogni convenzione sociale per raggiungere una verità più profonda.
