OLTRE I CONFINI. IL TEMA DEL RAPPORTO DI GENERE VISSUTO IN TERRA D'ORIGINE E NEL PAESE D'ARRIVO PRENDENDO IN ESAME TRE LIBRI DI SCRITTORI MIGRANTI

The thesis examines the two novels that won the national competition “Dimmi di storie di migranti” entitled “Le femmine e i cani non possono entrare, Diario di una donna che ha lottato per sopravvivere” by Lilith and “Un povero deve soffocare l’amore” by Ado Clocchiatti. It also analyzes at a third book “Il mio Afghanistan” by Gholam Najafi which deals with the personal story of a migrant who decides to leave his country to move to Italy. The stories told by these authors, written in the first person, tell positive and negative aspects of their lives and of their migration experiences. One of the topics that these three books have in common is the issue of gender. This theme will be analyzed through the eyes of the three different, although simultaneously similar, stories, focusing on what these three authors encountered in their native land (Afghanistan and Bangladesh) and their country of arrival, namely Italy

La tesi esamina i due romanzi vincitori del concorso nazionale ‘’Dimmi di storie di migranti’’ intitolati "Le femmine e i cani non possono entrare, Diario di una donna che ha lottato per sopravvivere" di Lilith, e "Un povero deve soffocare l’amore" di Ado Clocchiatti. Prende in esame anche un terzo libro "Il mio Afghanistan" di Gholam Najafi riguardante anch’esso la storia personale di un migrante che decide di lasciare il proprio Paese per raggiungere l’Italia. Le storie raccontate da questi autori, scritte in prima persona, raccontano le vicissitudini positive e negative della loro vita e della loro esperienza di migrazione. Uno degli argomenti che accomuna questi tre libri è la questione di genere. Pertanto verrà analizzato il rapporto di genere attraverso gli occhi dei tre diversi, ma allo stesso tempo simili, racconti, approfondendo quanto i tre protagonisti hanno vissuto nella loro terra d’origine (Afghanistan e Bangladesh) e nel Paese d’arrivo ovvero l’Italia.
