Gli standard ambientali collegati alla tassonomia europea delle attività economiche ecosostenibili

Climate change and the resulting consequences push the world community to intervene actively to deal with this problem. The utilization of adequate tools for environmental sustainability is fundamental, especially considering the objectives of the European Union linked to the European Green Deal, including the achievement of climate neutrality by 2050: objectives that are unlikely to be achieved through only public financing and which will necessarily also include the use of private capitals. In this thesis the European Taxonomy for eco-sustainable activities will be analyzed with a particular focus on the standards and norms that compose it. Indeed, in order for investors to be able to identify sustainable investment opportunities, it is essential that there is transparency between interested parties and this can only be achieved through the use of recognized international criteria.

Il cambiamento climatico e le conseguenze che ne derivano spingono la comunità mondiale ad intervenire attivamente per far fronte al problema. L'uso di strumenti adeguati per la sostenibilità ambientale è fondamentale, specialmente considerando gli obiettivi dell'Unione Europea lega- al Green Deal Europeo, tra cui il raggiungimento della neutralità climatica entro il 2050: obiettivi che difficilmente verranno raggiunti tramite i soli finanziamenti pubblici e che necessariamente prevederanno anche l’impiego di capitali privati. In questa tesi verrà analizzata la Tassonomia Europea per le attività ecosostenibili con un focus particolare sugli standard e sulle norme che la compongono. Infatti, affinché gli investitori possano individuare delle opportunità di investimento sostenibile, è essenziale che ci si trasparenza tra le parti interessate e quest’ultima può essere ottenuta solamente mediante l’utilizzo di criteri riconosciuti a livello internazionale.
