Diritto all'oblio e trasformazione digitale. Nuove problematiche etiche, giuridiche e sociali

This thesis analyzes the so called "right to be forgotten", a theme of huge relevance in a society that's more interconnected then ever. The legislator must protect the individuals that require the removal from the internet of personal information and digital content that may negatively impact their own image. The dissertation starts with an analysis of the historical origins of the phenomenon to then analyze the more recent judicial and legislative evolutions of the right to be forgotten.

Il seguente elaborato si propone di analizzare il diritto all'oblio, una tematica di dirimente importanza in una società sempre più interconnessa. Il legislatore ha l'onere di tutelare gli individui che richiedono tutela mediante la rimozione dei dati personali e dei contenuti digitali che impattano negativamente sulla propria immagine. Partendo da una disamina dell'evoluzione storica del fenomeno si andranno poi a valutare le più recenti innovazioni giurisprudenziali e normative.
