Low permeability is one of the major issues for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), due to the strong impact on their bioavailability. Active molecules must have specific properties to be selected for a specific target. Current Brenta positioning regards the possibility to reformulate, repurpose or reposition API using solid dispersion solutions and nanosolvation strategies by loading molecules into specific platform based on nano or microparticles. The aim will be to evaluate the possible permeability enhancing of loaded API respect to the free one.

Abstract

Low permeability is one of the major issues for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), due to the strong impact on their bioavailability. Active molecules must have specific properties to be selected for a specific target. Current Brenta positioning regards the possibility to reformulate, repurpose or reposition API using solid dispersion solutions and nanosolvation strategies by loading molecules into specific platform based on nano or microparticles. The aim will be to evaluate the possible permeability enhancing of loaded API respect to the free one.
