Intelligenza Artificiale in campo Medico

In this thesis, the benefits and risks associated with the use of AI in the medical field will be addressed. The analysis will begin by examining the various uses of Artificial Intelligence technologies that are currently implemented in this field, distinguishing between the different algorithms, models, and specific cases where AI is particularly useful. The discussion will continue by examining the risks and emerging issues related to the use of these technologies, analyzing the regulations in place worldwide aimed at regulating AI and protecting personal data, concluding with a final reflection on the impact that AI could have on the medicine we know today.

In questa tesi verranno trattati i benefici ed i rischi legati all’utilizzo dell’IA in campo medico. Si inizierà analizzando i diversi utilizzi delle tecnologie di Intelligenza Artificiale che sono oggi implementati in questo campo, distinguendo tra i vari algoritmi, modelli e i casi specifici in cui l’IA è di particolare utilità. Si proseguirà analizzando quali sono i rischi ed i problemi emergenti legati all’uso di queste tecnologie e analizzando le normative vigenti a livello mondiale volte a regolamentare l’IA e la protezione dei dati personali, concludendo con una riflessione finale sull’impatto che l’IA potrebbe avere sulla medicina che oggi conosciamo.
