La questione cipriota, una controversia al centro del Mediterraneo: i ruoli di Grecia e Turchia e i limiti dell’integrazione europea

The thesis will adress the Cypriot issue, placing it within the broader context of the relationship between Greece and Turkey. It will analyze the limits of european integration, examining the application of the EU legal framework in a de facto divided State. Lastly, it will inquire about the possibility of resolving the issue if Turkey were to join the European Union.

La tesi tratterà la questione cipriota inserendola nel più ampio contesto dei rapporti tra Grecia e Turchia. Analizzerà i limiti dell’integrazione europea, esaminando l'applicazione del corpus normativo dell'UE in uno Stato diviso de facto. Si interrogherà, infine, circa l’eventualità di risolvere la questione se la Turchia aderisse all'Unione Europea.
