Technologies have become an integral part of our daily lives, influencing work and leisure environments and involving people of all ages, from adults to young children. Different devices are used, in different ways and for different purposes. This thesis aims to examine how technologies are perceived and used within families with children aged between 3 and 10 years. The sample analysed involves 30 families and is part of a larger project developed by the FISSPA department of the University of Padua. The research is divided into two phases: a one-week ethnographic diary to capture everyday digital dynamics and a semi-structured interview with one of the parents to explore household perspectives on technologies. The investigation focuses on three main aspects: parents' technology use before and during pregnancy, school-related media practices and children's technology consumption habits at home.
