In this project of thesis, I will discuss about how Covid 19 influenced the supply chain and in particularly how the company Intimissimi got influenced by it. This paper is about the brand, its story and how we reacted to the challenges that the pandemic generated. First of all, the rapid increase and the decrease of the demand, thanks to the Forrester effect, has led to a creation of an imprecise forecasting that made them increment their production. It resulted in an increase of stock making them run out of space. This led to a necessity to move out the brand Intimissimi uomo of the Vallese plant. In this thesis I will talk about the relocation of this section in Casalmoro, how we managed to do it and the strategies that were involved during this process. The other major project I will be presenting will be the creation of a new e-commerce bay in the Vallese plant. Thanks to the increase of sales during Covid 19 there was the need for a specific area dedicated to the online sales. Starting from the analysis that me and the team I worked with in my internship did about this side of the brand, we decided the positioning of this area, studying the right capacity ad hoc for it and the layout chosen for its creation.
