I social network tra rischi e opportunità. Una lettura pedagogica

The transformations resulting from the technological revolution have impacted all sectors. Among these, the area that has probably suffered the greatest negative, or rather "critical" consequences, is that inherent to the impact that the internet first and then social networks have had on the lives of adolescents. It is now not uncommon to witness the relational changes that today's young people have undergone, just as it is "almost normal" to grow up with a total lack of ability to express one's feelings and emotions. Asociality, communicative ineptitude, the absence of privacy and the development of phenomena in which the virtual plays a constant role (see for example the category of hikikomori) represent just some of the serious negative events that have impacted the younger generations . Educational scholars and psychologists are now completely employed in the study of the resolution of these manifestations; the main step is to be able to define educational, training and pedagogical approaches to the use of technological tools, involve and present to young people the negative eventualities they could encounter and give them guidelines to follow so that they implement conscious use of the same.

Le trasformazioni derivanti dalla rivoluzione tecnologica hanno impattato in tutti i settori. Tra questi, l’ambito che probabilmente ha subito i maggiori risvolti negativi, o meglio dire “critici”, è quello inerente l’impatto che internet prima e i social network poi, hanno avuto sulla vita degli adolescenti. Non è raro, ormai, assistere ai cambiamenti relazionali che i giovani di oggi hanno subito, cosi come rientra nella “quasi normalità” crescere con una totale assenza di capacità nell’esprimere propri sentimenti ed emozioni. L’asocialità, l’inettitudine comunicativa, l’assenza di privacy e lo sviluppo di fenomeni in cui il virtuale gioca un ruolo costante (si veda ad esempio la categoria degli hikikomori) rappresentano solo alcuni dei gravi eventi negativi che hanno impattato sulle giovani generazioni. Studiosi pedagogisti e psicologi sono ormai completamente impiegati nello studio della risoluzione di queste manifestazioni; il passo principale è riuscire a definire approcci educativi, formativi e pedagogici all’uso degli strumenti tecnologici, coinvolgere e presentare ai giovani le eventualità negative in cui potrebbero incorrere e dare loro delle linee guida da seguire affinchè attuino un uso consapevole degli stessi.
