Il ruolo dell’inventore: evoluzione da fine Ottocento ai giorni nostri

The research is proposed to examine the evolution of the role of the inventor from the end of the nineteenth century to the present days. First, the figures of some famous inventors who lived in the last decades of the nineteenth century will be examined. Then there will be an analysis of the problems encountered towards the end of the century about the nature of the right of invention, and then the focus will be on the problem of employee inventions that emerged more and more explicitly in the first decades of the twentieth century. The focus will therefore be on the regulation of this matter in Italy, in particular through the ‘Regio Decreto del 29 giugno del 1939’ on patents for industrial inventions. The final pages will be dedicated to the current and future perspectives of the inventor and the new challenges that today's reality presents.

In questo studio si propone di esaminare l’evoluzione del ruolo dell’inventore dalla fine del XIX secolo fino ai giorni attuali. Dapprima si prenderanno in esame le figure di alcuni inventori celebri vissuti negli ultimi decenni dell’Ottocento. Si andranno quindi ad analizzare le problematiche riscontrate verso la fine del secolo circa la natura del diritto di invenzione, per poi focalizzare l’attenzione sul problema delle invenzioni degli impiegati che emerge in modo sempre più esplicito nei primi decenni del Novecento. L’attenzione dunque si sposterà sulla regolamentazione di tale materia in Italia, in particolare tramite il Regio Decreto del 29 giugno del 1939 in materia di brevetti per invenzioni industriali. Le pagine conclusive saranno dedicate alle prospettive attuali e future dell’inventore e alle nuove sfide che la realtà odierna presenta.
