Implementation of templates for ISO-GPS functional specification in Electrolux R&D Care Excellence

This study emphasizes the importance of adopting more integrated methods in the product design process of assembled products. It highlights the critical role of technical drawings and ISO GPS standards in enhancing functional specification for accurate communication of product requirements. The principal objective was to develop a template that facilitates the formalization of a document dedicated to consolidating the knowledge acquired regarding the product. Implementing a new model for geometrical specification that facilitates sharing design choices and creates an environment promoting information exchange among various participants is crucial. Therefore, it is essential for a company to adopt updated standards and the best frameworks to effectively and efficiently declare and maintain information.
