Interventi educativi per le persone con disabilità visiva

The following paper aims to analyze the educational interventions that have been carried out for people with impaired vision, in order to provide the latter with an adequate response to the handicap and consequently to offer them equal opportunities to mature and develop their potential, as well as intrinsic resources. The role of education is to help the subject to become more and more himself; therefore the means through which each educator can achieve this objective with those suffering from visual impairment, concerns the set of measures which have been set up specifically to meet the special and specific needs of the latter and which enable them to establish a solid identity and to achieve a sound social and cultural integration.

Il seguente elaborato si propone di analizzare gli interventi educativi che sono stati realizzati per le persone affette dal deficit della vista, allo scopo di fornire a queste ultime un'adeguata risposta di adattamento alla minorazione e di conseguenza offrire loro pari opportunità di maturazione e sviluppo delle proprie potenzialità, nonchè risorse intrinseche. Il ruolo dell'educazione è quello di aiutare il soggetto a divenire sempre più se stesso; pertanto il mezzo attraverso il quale ciascun educatore può realizzare tale obiettivo con i soggetti affetti da minorazione visiva, riguarda quell'insieme di interventi che sono stati appositamente costituiti per rispondere ai bisogni speciali e specifici di questi ultimi e che consentono loro di costituire una solida identità e di realizzare una valida integrazione sociale e culturale.
