With this thesis I will analyze the events that followed and led to the "American hostage crisis in Tehran in 1979". Starting from the analysis of the facts preceding the crisis, analyzed from a historical point of view, I will then move on to talk about the actual crisis, which involved two nations, the United States and Iran, and the respective families of the 52 hostages who had been kidnapped for 444 days. on the morning of November 4, 1979

Con la presenti tesi di laurea andrò ad analizzare le vicende che si sono susseguite e che hanno portato alla "crisi degli ostaggi americani a Teheran nel 1979". Partendo dall'analisi dei fatti antecedenti alla crisi, analizzati dal punto di vista storico, passerò poi a parlare dell'effettiva crisi, che coinvolse per 444 giorni due nazioni, Stati Uniti e Iran, e le rispettive famiglie dei 52 ostaggi che erano stati sequestrati nella mattina del 4 Novembre 1979
