Un'analisi della sostenibilità urbana: il caso di studio del The Plant di Chicago e le sue implicazioni per la provincia di Venezia

The thesis I have written is a bottom-up business proposal project (in collaboration with private entities and local authorities) aimed at utilizing the production system of a leading company in the agricultural sector (Plant Chicago) and adapting it to the needs of the Venetian territory. The work, accompanied by the study of the possible branding of the company, has been conceived to reduce the gap between the city from which the model is taken (Chicago) and the reality of Mestre, Venice, and Marghera, aiming to redevelop these three hubs not only from an economic-production standpoint but also urbanistic, social, and sustainable perspectives.

La tesi che ho scritto è un progetto per una proposta di business bottom-up (con collaborazione del privato e dell'Ente) che punta ad utilizzare il sistema produttivo di un'azienda leader del settore agricolo (Plant Chicago) adattandolo alle esigenze del territorio veneziano. Il lavoro, accompagnato dallo studio del possibile branding dell'azienda, è stato concepito in modo da ridurre lo scompenso tra la città da cui viene preso il modello (Chicago) e la realtà di Mestre, Venezia e Marghera, puntando a riqualificare questi tre poli non solo dal punto di vista economico-produttivo ma anche urbanistico, sociale e sostenibile.
