In today's rapidly changing technological, economic and socio-cultural world, career development processes have become complex and need to be shed light. Especially in countries like Turkiye, social factors have undeniable effects on experience of transition and positive development in young adults. The aim of this study is to explore and describe the current and future perspectives in university students between the ages of 18-26 in Turkiye. The study involved 20 Turkish students, who were studying at undergraduate and graduate degrees in their universities. Participants were found by using the convenience sampling method. To explore/ address these topics both the tool My System of Career Influences (McMahon, Patton, & Watson, 2003) and The Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (Petrov, Robinson, Arnett, 2022) were use. This exploratory and descriptive study offers both a qualitative and quantitative perspective for several diverse systems considered in the analysis as well as for the experience of transition. Results highlight patterns of systemic influences and associations with the experience of transition. The findings are discussed taking into account recent findings in the literature.
