An exceptionally prolific and challenging pest of potato is the Colorado potato beetle (CPB). Regenerative farming methods have been reported to be a viable way of reducing CPB damage on fields. The use of transfer mulch materials and reduced tillage were utilised to increase soil suppressiveness and reduce effects on larva development in CPB. Field experiment was conducted in Eichenberg, Germany between June and September 2023. In the overall experiment there was a resultant reduction in the egg masses. Not much significant difference was seen in the use of mulch material but a combination of green mulch and reduced tillage technique is recommended to achieve CPB management.
