Un percorso nel Dolore ungarettiano

The essay addresses the theme of pain and death in «The Pain» of Ungaretti. After an introductory chapter concerning the author's biography and the stylistic changes that marked the three phases of his poetry, I focused on the idea of ​​death that transpires from his poems and on the collection «The Pain», which the poet speaks of as «The book I love most, the book I wrote in those horrible years, clutched at my throat».

La tesina affronta il tema del dolore e della morte nel percorso poetico ungarettiano. Dopo un capitolo introduttivo riguardante la biografia dell'autore e i cambiamenti stilistici che hanno contrassegnato le tre fasi del suo poetare, mi sono focalizzata sull'idea di morte che traspare dalle sue poesie e sulla raccolta «Il Dolore», di cui il poeta parla definendolo «Il libro che più amo, il libro he ho scritto negli anni orribili, stretto alla gola».
