Attestazioni muliebri nelle Noctes Atticae di Aulo Gellio

In this final essay, several chapters in the Noctes Atticae of Aulus Gellius have been analyzed in which more or less well-known female figures from Greek and Roman tradition can be found; starting from these ideas it's possible to understand the role played by women in Roman antiquity from a legal, social and political point of view.

In questo elaborato finale sono stati analizzati diversi capitoli presenti nelle Noctes Atticae di Aulo Gellio in cui sono riscontrabili figure femminili più o meno note della tradizione greca e romana; a partire da questi spunti è possibile comprendere quale fosse il ruolo occupato dalla donna nell'antichità romana da un punto di vista giuridico, sociale e politico.
