Mentore e maestro: il ruolo di mago Merlino nel ciclo arturiano

The thesis examines the figure of Merlin within the Arthurian Cycle. The character is analyzed through the role of mentor and master he played for figures such as Vortigern, Uther Pendragon, King Arthur, and Morgana. Through these characters, episodes of the Arthurian cycle are explored where Merlin played a fundamental role for them.

La tesi tratta la figura di Mago Merlino all'interno del Ciclo Arturiano. Il personaggio è analizzato attraverso il ruolo di mentore e maestro che egli ha avuto per personaggi come Vortigern, Uther Pendragon, Re Artù e Morgana. Mediante queste figure si trattano episodi del ciclo arturiano nei quali Merlino è stato per loro fondamentale.
