The hereby aims to explore the philosophical anthropology of Arnold Gehlen and Günther Anders, focusing on their conception of inadequacy within the technological life of the man. Through the use of Gehlen's elementary anthropology, it seeks to elucidate the notion of humans as biologically deficient beings, characterized by organic primitivism that compels them to create an artificial habitat for survival, through the law of relief and productive acts. Furthermore, the concept of Promethean shame in Anders' philosophy will be introduced, that being a state of mind triggered by the technical perfection created by humans, driving them to surpass their biological limits through Human Engineering to approach the machine as closely as possible. Finally, commonalities and disagreements between these two authors will be discussed.

Abstract
Finally, commonalities and disagreements between these two authors will be discussed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
