In this thesis the effects of climate warming on Apoidea communities within the city of Padua were investigated. In detail, the effect of temperature on the body size of ten Apoidea species was observed, measuring the inter-tegular distance for 638 specimens collected, for which it was expected to record a reduction in body size (estimated using the distance inter – tegular) as temperature increases, in relation to the known effects caused by urbanization and climate change on the morphology of the species.
