This thesis addresses the Spanish subtitling of Vogue Italy make-up tutorials, exploring the specific translation difficulties of this type of content, such as the orality and the improvisation. The linguistic and cultural challenges are analysed, as well as the translation strategies used to ensure coherence and comprehension and to maintain the register used in the original material. In addition, a bilingual Spanish-Italian glossary of specialised make-up terms is elaborated to facilitate future translations and to promote terminological accuracy in both languages. This glossary is divided into different categories, such as make-up and skin care products, make-up tools, and the most commonly used verbs and adjectives in this field.
