Anti-femminismo e ostilità: un'analisi quantitativa sugli stereotipi e i pregiudizi verso il movimento femminista

This research aims to investigate, through a quantitative study, the existing stereotypes and prejudices in contemporary society towards the feminist movement and those who identify as feminists. This study explores the social and cultural dynamics that influence the acceptance and perception of feminism in Italy, where the public opinion is deeply influenced by numerous anti-feminist movements and a series of negative stereotypes, perpetuated for decades, about women who identify as feminists. The research involves a questionnaire that explores various factors such as adherence to gender norms, positioning regarding feminist ideals, degree of feminist identification, and finally, stereotypes and/or prejudices towards the movement. Through a critical comparison of different stances, the study identifies the primary factors contributing to the rejection of feminism and recognises the most widespread stereotypes associated with it.

La presente ricerca si propone di indagare, tramite una ricerca quantitativa, stereotipi e pregiudizi esistenti nella società contemporanea verso il movimento femminista e verso coloro che si identificano come femministi. Questo studio va ad indagare quelle dinamiche sociali e culturali che influenzano l'accettazione e la percezione del femminismo in Italia, in cui l'opinione pubblica è profondamente influenzata da numerosi movimenti antifemministi e da una serie di stereotipi negativi, perpetuati ormai da decenni, sulle donne che si identificano come femministe. La ricerca prevede un questionario che va ad indagare diversi fattori, come l'aderenza alle norme di genere, il posizionamento rispetto agli ideali femministi, il grado di identificazione femminista e, infine, stereotipi e/o pregiudizi verso il movimento. Attraverso un confronto critico tra i diversi posizionamenti vengono identificati quali sono i fattori principali che causano un rifiuto del femminismo e quali siano gli stereotipi più diffusi su di esso.
