This thesis explores the importance of marketing campaigns in the fashion industry, with particular attention to Diesel's alternative brand communication. It begins by contextualizing the significance of marketing campaigns in fashion, examining the marketing mix. Special focus is given to communication tools used through promotional marketing and how they have changed society and its consumers. It then provides a historical overview of the Diesel brand, highlighting its successful journey and analyzing its marketing strategy over the years. Finally, it conducts a descriptive analysis of some brand communication campaigns: "Go with the Flaw," "Diesel x Durex," and "Find the D."
Questa tesi approfondisce l’importanza delle campagne di marketing nel settore della moda, con particolare attenzione alla comunicazione alternativa del brand Diesel. Inizialmente viene fornita una contestualizzazione dell’importanza delle campagne di marketing nella moda, per fare questo viene esaminato il marketing mix. Una particolare attenzione viene fornita agli strumenti di comunicazione utilizzati attraverso il marketing promozionale e a come sono cambiati la società e i suoi consumatori. In seguito viene proposta una panoramica storica del marchio Diesel, evidenziando il suo percorso di successo e analizzando la sua strategia di marketing utilizzata negli anni. Infine viene condotta un’analisi descrittiva di alcune campagne comunicative del brand: “Go with the Flaw”, “Diesel x Durex” e “Find the D”.
