Test automatici con Large Language Model

This document illustrates the internship activity carried out by the graduate student Alberto Dugo at the Zucchetti Spa company. During the internship period, lasting 320 hours, there was the opportunity to deepen knowledge in the machine learning field. In particular, the study and implementation of automatic tests deriving directly from the code was required, exploiting the abilities of artificial intelligence systems and in particular the Large Language Model (LLM). There was also the possibility of fine-tuning the LLMs through the Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) method and quantizing the models themselves in order to make them more efficient.

Il presente documento illustra l’attività di stage svolta dal laureando Alberto Dugo presso l’azienda Zucchetti Spa. Durante il periodo di stage, della durata di 320 ore, vi è stata l’opportunità di approfondire le conoscenze in ambito machine learning. In particolare era richiesto lo studio e l’implementazione di test automatici derivanti direttamente dal codice, sfruttando le abilità dei sistemi di intelligenza artificiale ed in particolare del Large Language Model (LLM). Vi è stata inoltre la possibilità di fare fine-tuning degli LLMs attraverso il metodo Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) e quantizzare i modelli stessi in modo da renderli più efficienti.
