The approach to each individual building renovation project can be varied, so it is good practice to have well-defined rules and steps to follow, just as it is essential to be clear from the outset about the purpose of that intervention. It is therefore important to decide on the objective and, based on that, to correctly choose how to investigate the site and the building itself. The following thesis, carried out in collaboration with the Padua engineering company Incide Engineering S.R.L., aims to study the approach to a real job order by studying the intervention site and the building itself, both from a chronological and technological-constructive point of view, in order to have a complete cognitive picture. The following discussion is divided into four chapters, which represent the various steps in the process, first of knowledge, then of survey and BIM processing, and finally of project. In the first chapter there is a study of the town of Parabita, in the province of Lecce, and in particular of its historical centre, where the building subject to intervention is located, attempting to summarise the various historical phases. Next, the investigation methods adopted for the architectural survey of the property are introduced, expounding the advantages that modern tools can provide, considerably speeding up the process, as they represent a valid start to the modelling and restitution phase of the state of affairs. The discussion continues by analysing the “Scan To Bim” process and all the possibilities of speeding up this process with the help of some software or plugins that interface directly with the target BIM software, and help to perform correct modelling, both from a geometric and informative point of view. Finally, in the last chapter, the restructuring project is presented, along with the choices made, both on the basis of the initial objective and the considerations that emerged during its development.

Abstract
Finally, in the last chapter, the restructuring project is presented, along with the choices made, both on the basis of the initial objective and the considerations that emerged during its development.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
