Nowadays, the business landscape has become extremely competitive, organizations face increasing pressure to leverage data effectively to achieve operational excellence, therefore managing strategic decision-making is crucial. Business Intelligence (BI) has emerged as a fundamental tool in this attempt, providing insights that enable organizations to adapt to the changing market environment and gain a competitive edge. This thesis explores the intersection of BI and quality performance within the context of the Sit S.p.A company, with the aim of implementing BI through the application of the PDCA cycle enabling the organization to enhance its quality management processes. First, it provides an overview of the concept of BI, focuses on the BI implementation and the critical factors for a successful one. Subsequently, describes the PDCA cycle concept, phases, and its possible application for BI implementation. The primary objective of this thesis is to improve the current process of analyzing and assessing quality plant performance and the comparison of this within different plants that Sit has around the world, doing so through the implementation of a business intelligence tool, Power BI.
