Informal caregivers are often lonely, but they lack the time or mobility to attend in-person interventions. Therefore, we need more research on e-health to determine which interventions and strategies are best for this group. This study investigated the effectiveness of technological interventions in combating informal caregivers’ loneliness. This scoping review analyzed different categories of e-health interventions and intervention strategies to combat loneliness and increase social support. Technological interventions were found to be effective in building social support, increasing self-efficacy, educating, and employing stress management.
