It examines how narrative not only structures our temporal experience, but also how it defines our personal and collective identity. Narrative emerges as a key element in the formation of the self, mediating between the permanence of the self and change. The last section addresses the concept of time and narrative identity, highlighting how narrative contributes to the understanding of our existence in time, according to Ricoeur's view.
